Long Life Solutions

We can confirm that we have been using Long Life Solutions liners at source for Marks & Spencer cherries since being aware of this product in March this year.

Although we have not completed any pure scientific analysis on this product, from our observations we have been very impressed by the liner's performance in delivering product at its optimum quality after an extended period of storage (over 2 weeks from harvest). This included stem condition and retention, as well as fruit quality for cherries. We believe the liner's ability to stabilise gas atmosphere during a break in cool chain is a major benefit and delivers product on a par, if not better, than other comparable liners currently available to the market. We are similarly pleased with the service and flexibility that has been provided and the competitive price structure to orders.

Some of our suppliers that have used Long Life Solutions for cherries are now planning to use the liners to improve storage for other products. We look forward to further developments and Long Life Solutions' support in research for other initiatives for our customers.
