lls - The Company

1. Wash off pesticides etc. as normal
2. Dry off all surface moisture
3. Cool the fruit to the required temperature
4. After the fruit or vegetable is DRY, CLEAN & CHILLED, pack as follows: -
5. Place the smartbag into a WELL VENTILATED crate or box.
6. Place the fruit or vegetable into the smartbag
7. Ethylene Sachets - when our protocol advises the use of "Ethylene Sachets", please add a sachet as one of the controls. When comparing both, the grower can decide whether the results when using "Ethylene Sachets" outweigh the added costs.
8. Close the smartbag with rubber band or similar. (But please note; if you are vacuum cooling after packing in smartbags, just overlap the film).
9. Crates must be stacked on to a pallet to allow airflow around the crates (see attached).
10. Cool chain to be maintained throughout transportation

REMEMBER:
a) The box or crate holding the smartbag MUST HAVE LARGE VENTILATION GAPS in the SIDES AND TOP AND BASE to allow free flow of air around the smartbag (see attached).
b) Keep fruit & vegetables, CHILL & DRY

Disclaimer:
As Long Life Solutions Ltd has no control over handling, storage or transportation of fresh produce packed in the smartbag, the company or its nominated agents, make no express or implied guarantees and therefore all risks associated with the product are the responsibility of the user.
