LONG LIFE SOLUTIONS MA PACKAGING

Thames Fruit have been trialling Long Life Solutions (LLS) MA bags against other competitors for Latin America Soft Melon since 2001 and are very pleased with the results so far.

Trials were conducted with soft melons by sea from Brazil, which helped us deliver the product in its optimum condition.

This was followed up with further trials in Costa Rica of Canteloupe melon by sea in Early March. This trial showed some difference on arrival but has improved the shelf life and holding condition.

We are convinced that LLS MA bags can make a significant contribution to maintaining the condition of fresh produce both in transit and storage.

We have found LLS to be most helpful in supplying bags for trial purposes and we will continue to look forward to working with them in our quest to supply the freshest and best quality melon to our customer Asda Wal*Mart.
